Chores

Set the chores.
Watch the week fill up.

Kids tick off what they've done and the app keeps score. No money changes hands yet — earnings quietly build toward Sunday while the progress bar fills.

Daily and weekly chores
Set each child's jobs once — every day or once a week — and the week lays itself out.
A week you can see
Every tick fills the week’s progress. A daily chore counts seven slots, a weekly one counts one.
Two ways to earn
Allowance chores share the child’s weekly pot; fixed-rate chores pay their own rate per completion.

The Sunday reset

All week they earn.
On Sunday, you pay.

Ticking a chore never moves money on its own — that's the point. Earnings build quietly all week, then one reset pays every child what they earned, clears the board and starts the next week. Payday feels like payday.

See it before you pay
The reset shows every child’s payout up front, so Sunday holds no surprises.
One-tap payday
The whole week’s earnings land in each child’s balance as a single weekly-allowance entry.
A clean slate
Completions clear and a fresh Monday-to-Sunday week starts, ready to fill again.
The ledger remembers
Every payout stays on the child’s ledger, so “where did my money go?” always has an answer.

Goals & money

Saving up,
made visible.

Each child picks a goal and their whole balance climbs toward it — including what's already earned and coming this Sunday. When the target's reached, hand over the cash and close it out.

Goals
One active goal per child, with the finish line projected from their weekly pace — “≈ 3 weeks to go”.
Instant
Deposits and withdrawals a parent types post on the spot, so the ledger always matches the cash.
Private
Everything stays on your device. No ads, no analytics, no tracking — and no backend at all.
Spending

Saving is half of it.
Spending is the rest.

Money leaves a balance two ways: the goal they've been saving for finally gets bought, or they spend some on something else entirely. You hand over the cash either way — the app records it so nobody has to remember.

The goal gets paid out
When a balance reaches the target, the goal turns gold. Hand over the cash, tap withdraw, and Chore Dash logs the hand-over and closes the goal.
Or they just buy something
A child wants something now — type the amount, add what it was for, and the withdrawal posts on the spot. The goal’s finish line shifts to match.
Both land in the ledger
“Cash withdrawal · Lego set”, right there next to the payday it came out of. The balance in the app always matches the money in their pocket.

Questions

Good to know before payday.

Still stuck? Email burdens.corm.2f@icloud.com.

Do I need an account?

No. There’s no sign-up, no login and no backend. Everything — kids, chores, balances, goals — lives on your device.

When does money actually move?

Chore earnings move once a week, at the Sunday reset. Ticking a chore never pays on the spot — even a fixed-rate chore accrues to Sunday. The only entries that post immediately are deposits and withdrawals a parent types in.

What if we don’t get to it on Sunday?

The reset is manual, so it happens on the Sunday you get to it — Sunday night, Monday morning, whenever. Nothing is lost; the payout waits until you run it.

How do chores earn money?

Two ways. Allowance chores share the child’s weekly allowance — each completed slot is worth an equal cut of the pot. Fixed-rate chores pay a set rate per completion instead. A child can mix both.

Can a balance go negative?

Yes, deliberately. Nothing stops a parent handing over more cash than the child has saved — the ledger just records the truth and the balance climbs back.

How do I delete our data?

Delete the app. There’s no server-side copy anywhere — the data on your device is the only data there is.
